The Blue mindset
When, in 2015, Kolding Spildevand changed its name to BlueKolding, this was owing to our being tremendously inspired by the concept of Blue Economy – a recent economic theory founded by Austrian-born, Professor of Economy, Günther Pauli.
In his opinion, it will be necessary to raise the bar with respect to ambition levels within the green economy and mindset which, according to him, is focused on the introduction of less abusive actions with respect to environment and climate than we humans have practiced hitherto.
According to Pauli this is not enough if we intend to secure the survival of our planet. For, if this is the case, we need to change strategies and increase our focus on use and reuse.
